Award-winning Ghanaian artist, Sharon Dede Padiki, has embarked on a painting marathon in a bid to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest painting by an individual.
Dede Padiki’s goal is to paint for 168 hours, surpassing the current record of 100 hours. The marathon kicked off on Friday, March 15, and is set to conclude on Thursday, March 21.
The painting marathon is taking place at the Accra Tourism Information Centre, located opposite Afrikiko, near the presidential palace, Golden Jubilee House. Viewers worldwide can watch Padiki’s progress live on LifeStyle TV’s Facebook and YouTube channels.
