Fella Makafui’s elder brother, Richard, has recently taken to social media to address and counter allegations made by rapper Medikal.
In a video that has been widely circulated, Richard expressed that their family’s silence should not be mistaken for ignorance.
He went on to make several accusations against Medikal, challenging the rapper’s claims of wealth and success.
Richard stated that Fella has played a significant role in financing Medikal’s career, including funding his music videos and providing other forms of assistance.
Accusing Medikal of arrogance and exaggeration, Richard questioned the authenticity of the rapper’s assets such as cars and properties. He even alleged that some of these assets were acquired using financial support from Fella.
Richard specifically mentioned a past incident where Fella rented a house for the ‘La Hustle’ music video shoot as an example of her support for Medikal.
In addition, Richard set the record straight regarding the circumstances of Fella and Medikal’s breakup.
He refuted Medikal’s claims and asserted that it was Fella who initiated the split. Richard criticized Medikal for allegedly squandering Fella’s money on frivolous expenses, including using GHC7,000 on grocery shopping with friends.
Richard concluded his message by warning Medikal not to underestimate Fella’s support system, emphasizing that their family is ready to defend her reputation against baseless accusations.
He also cautioned Medikal against dragging their mother into their disputes, responding to claims made by the rapper about Fella’s mother invading their privacy.
