Actress Fella Makafui’s manager, Richmond Amofa Sarpong, has denied reports of her arrest for selling unauthorized products.
He clarified that Fella was summoned to explain aspects of her products currently in the registration process.
According to Sarpong, Fella provided all necessary paperwork, including her license from the Ghana Traditional Medicine Practice and details of her FDA-registered products.
He shared this information through a social media post, stating that Fella cooperated fully with the investigation and presented her credentials.
Sarpong further emphasized that Fella provided information on the few products still undergoing registration.
The reports of Fella Makafui being detained by the Pharmacy Council and Food and Drugs Authority on May 23, 2024, were dismissed as false.
