Well-known Ghanaian actress, Habiba Sinare, has shared her thoughts on the current power outages in the country, commonly referred to as ‘dumsor.’
During a recent appearance on United Showbiz, she made it clear that she does not believe organizing a protest is the solution to the issue.
Sinare expressed her belief that the government is well aware of the challenges faced by its citizens and would have taken action if they had intentions to do so.
She emphasized her stance against participating in any demonstrations related to ‘dumsor,’ stating that it would likely be a futile endeavor.
Furthermore, Sinare questioned the necessity of protests, pointing out that Ghana’s struggles have not gone unnoticed by the international media.
She stated, “I won’t join any protest. Who said they don’t know we are suffering? What haven’t we done in this country for the International media to pick it up? Where are we? We are still where we are and worse. Ghana is a small country and we shouldn’t go through what we are going through.”
