Ghanaian gospel singer and record producer Nacee recently shared his inspiring story of living with Sickle Cell disease. During an interview on Hitz FM, Nacee, also known as Nana Osei, revealed that he was diagnosed with the condition at an early age and was given a grim prognosis by his doctor.
The doctor had predicted that Nacee may only live for about 20 to 23 more years due to his Sickle Cell disease. However, Nacee has defied the odds and is now nearing his 50th birthday, much to the surprise of his medical practitioners.
Reflecting on his journey, Nacee expressed gratitude for the critical role his doctor played in managing his condition. Although the doctor has since passed away, Nacee credits him for saving his life during a difficult time.
Nacee also shared a transformative experience he had in church that he believes sealed the deal for his healing. During an alter call, Nacee joined congregants who came forth before the preacher. The pastor called the elders to pour oil on him and pray for his healing. Since that day, Nacee has never felt sick again, and neither have his children.
