Ghanaian Disk Jockey DJ Bridash, whose real name is Bright Ewusi, has received a double nomination in this year’s 12th edition of the Guinness Ghana DJ Awards.
Organized by Merqury Republic, DJ Bridash has been nominated for Male Radio DJ of the Year and Record Promoter of the Year.
Competing against industry giants like Papa Bills from Adomfm, DJ Wobete from Joy FM, Mr Shark from Pluzz FM, and DJ Sly King from YFM in the Male Radio DJ of the Year category, DJ Bridash is determined to secure his first award.
In the Record Promoter of the Year category, he faces tough competition from DJ Toyor, DJ Phletch, and DJ Ganj.
Known as the official DJ for the DaybreakHitz show and Night Ride Show on Hitz FM, as well as the personal DJ for Ghanaian rapper E.L, DJ Bridash is confident in his skills and believes he has what it takes to win in both categories he is nominated in.
The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards Festival will take place on November 9, 2024, at The Palms Convention Center, featuring performances from top artists like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kwabena Kwabena, Andy Dosty, and Keche.
Over the years, the event has seen stellar performances from acts such as Kofi Mole, Black Sherif, Medikal, DJ Vyrusky, and many more.
