Gospel singer Evangelist Diana Asamoah recently shared a terrifying experience involving Dr. Kwaku Oteng, where divine intervention saved him from a potentially deadly encounter with an armed robber.
The shocking revelation came in the midst of dealing with the aftermath of her ‘assistant pastor’ being arrested for stealing GH₵4000 from her.
Speaking on Angel FM, Asamoah recounted how a notorious armed robber known as ‘Arafat’ had been stealing from the CEO of Angel Group of Companies for some time. On one particular day, the robbery took a dangerous turn as Arafat attempted to silence Dr. Oteng for good.
“Arafat pulled out a gun on my brother Dr. Kwaku Oteng and robbed him. He had intentions to kill Dr. Oteng that day,” Asamoah revealed, stressing the seriousness of the incident captured on CCTV cameras.
Despite being visibly upset by her assistant pastor’s betrayal, Asamoah addressed criticism surrounding the arrest for what some may consider a small amount. “The hands that do not work should not eat… People want to benefit from where they did not sow,” she stated, advocating for a stronger work ethic.
Her unwavering stance on combating embezzlement was clear: “People are questioning why I had the pastor arrested for stealing GH₵4000. I could have reinvested that money into my business and made a profit.”
This incident not only highlighted the risks faced by high-profile individuals like Dr. Oteng but also sparked conversations about accountability and honesty in professional settings.
