King Paluta, the winner of the Telecel Ghana Music Award’s (TGMA) New Artiste of the Year, recently shared a special moment with Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and other notable personalities.
The occasion? An impromptu acapella rendition of his hit song ‘Aseda.’
The Vice President, joined by Dome Kwabenya MP Adwoa Sarfo, the Ashanti Regional Minister Simon Osei-Mensah, and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ashanti Regional Chairman, Bernard Antwi Boasiako, enthusiastically sang along to King Paluta’s catchy tune.
Dr Bawumia, in particular, seemed quite excited, throwing his hands around in rhythm with the music.
Chairman Wontumi, as Bernard Antwi Boasiako is popularly known, couldn’t resist nodding and singing along, while Adwoa Sarfo showcased some dance moves of her own.
This heartwarming moment took place during the climax of Dr Bawumia’s Ashanti Regional tour.
The previous day, Dr Bawumia had displayed his dance moves at the Youth Connect event, which marked the end of his regional tour.
During this event, he even joined in on the dance for Guru’s performance of the hit song “Lapaz Toyota,” much to the delight of the crowd.
These videos of Dr Bawumia engaging in these musical moments have sparked various reactions on social media, showcasing a more relatable and fun side of the Vice President.
Music has a way of bringing people together, regardless of their background or profession.
