Ghanaian rapper and businessman D-Black recently opened up about the emotional turmoil he experienced after an alleged sex tape of him was leaked in 2020.
The incident, which took place in September 2020, caused quite a commotion on social media after a video allegedly posted by a young man claiming to be in a sexual relationship with D-Black surfaced online.
Despite the controversy surrounding the leaked tape, D-Black remained unfazed and even made light-hearted jokes about it on social media.
On a recent episode of his show “Uncut with D-Black”, the musician explained that the incident occurred while he was in America during the COVID-19 pandemic. He expressed his shock at hearing his voice in the leaked video, even though he was not physically present in the footage.
D-Black shared that he was inundated with calls from concerned friends and family members, including his mother, following the leak. However, he chose not to answer any of the calls as he was still processing the situation.
In an attempt to divert attention from the scandal, D-Black revealed that he contacted a director to release a music video shortly after the incident. He hoped that the release of the video would shift the focus away from the leaked tape.
The rapper also mentioned another incident that garnered widespread attention on social media – the fake award he received from Dr. UN not long after the sex tape scandal.
Despite these challenges, D-Black remains focused on his music career and business ventures, determined to rise above the controversies that come his way.
