TV show host Mona Gucci raises doubts about Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, and his recent political crowdfunding efforts.

Gucci questions Cheddar’s ability to garner grassroots support and showcase tangible achievements that would warrant public financial backing for his campaign.

Comparing Cheddar to established political parties like the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC), Gucci points out the strong support networks these parties have built to attract donations from their followers.

She contrasts Cheddar’s situation with that of activist-turned-politician A Plus, who is funding his campaign independently and has gained public approval through community initiatives.

During her show, Biribi Gyegyewo, Gucci expressed, “You’re a political starter who has done nothing. If A Plus wants to crowdfund his campaign, I will freely donate because of the boreholes and other projects he is undertaking in a short while.”

She also highlighted Cheddar’s lavish lifestyle, mentioning his million-dollar portrait of his mother displayed in one of his buildings, suggesting that such valuable assets could be sold to finance his campaign.
