Be silent about your personal achievements – Delay

Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, also known as Delay, recently shared some valuable advice with her followers. In a Facebook post dated May 20, 2024, Delay urged her audience to keep their personal achievements to themselves.

She emphasized that sharing one’s dreams and aspirations with others can often lead to their downfall. According to Delay, the key to success lies in keeping plans private to prevent others from undermining potential success, whether intentionally or unintentionally.

Delay warned that even close friends and family members may harbor envy and jealousy, which can hinder one’s progress. She advised her followers to be cautious about sharing their projects and successes with those who claim to be friends, as envy and low-key jealousy can be destructive.

Despite these warnings, Delay expressed confidence that such negative energies cannot thwart what God has intended for an individual. She reminded her followers that while some may want to see them do well, they may not want them to do better than themselves.
