In a recent development, Yolo star Drogba has shown his unwavering confidence in Vice President Dr. Bawumia, stating that the Vice President made a promise to him that he trusts will be honored.
Drogba, who has been diagnosed with demyelinating disease, has been actively seeking financial support for overseas medical treatment. His plea for assistance captured the attention of Vice President Dr. Bawumia, who paid him a visit to offer his support.
Despite this, Drogba, also known as John Peasah, revealed in an interview on Daybreak Hitz that he still requires a significant amount of money for his treatment.
He gently reminded the public, including Dr. Bawumia, of their promises to support him during this challenging time, expressing hope that the necessary funds for his medical care abroad would be secured.
“The problem now is I am not seeing any improvement, so I am reaching out to him. I know he is busy with his campaign but I’m trying to let him know that this is his promise to me.
I am very grateful to him for coming to show support and honoring me in my home,” he said.
Drogba issued a heartfelt appeal for financial assistance to support his medical treatment for two rare conditions: Stiff Person Spectrum Disorder and GAD Positive Cerebellar Ataxia.
With his current treatments proving ineffective and his resources depleting, Drogba took to Instagram on August 14, 2024, to share his urgent need for $280,000 to continue his care.
The Yolo star remains hopeful that Dr. Bawumia and the public will come through to help him in his time of need, showcasing his faith in the promise made to him by the Vice President.
