A popular rapper, Emmanuel Oladipo, known as Chinko Ekun, has expressed his belief that Valentine’s Day should not be limited to people in romantic relationships.
In an interview with Saturday Beats, he shared, “Valentine’s Day should not be restricted to only those in love. During Valentine’s Day, I usually get gifts for my friends, my lawyer, my mother, and my sister. Even those around me, such as my security guy, receive something from me on Valentine’s Day, no matter how small. I usually go out on dates for Valentine’s Day, but most times, I am busy with shows.”
The artist also revealed that he released a new single titled, ‘Wait’, in honor of Valentine’s Day. He said, “I released a new song this week, featuring Ozed. The song asks a lady what she wants from the relationship; whether it is love, money, or attention. That is because clarity is one of the things people like to shy away from. But, I think that in any relationship, clarity is needed at some point.”
While he had no specific plans for the lover’s day, the ‘Able God’ singer was scheduled to perform at a Valentine’s Day party.
