This historic event has been hailed by creative industry stakeholders as a groundbreaking milestone in Ghana’s comedy scene, as it marks the first time a Ghanaian comedian has filled such a large venue for a comedy show.
OB Amponsah’s decision to host his 10th anniversary at a bigger venue was a strategic move to elevate the Ghanaian comedy narrative that he and his colleagues have been championing for years.
The audience was treated to a night of laughter and entertainment, as OB Amponsah delivered a stellar performance with his hilarious jokes touching on various themes such as politics, relationships, and taboo subjects.
The event also featured performances from a lineup of talented Ghanaian comedians, including DKB, Jacinta, Ebenezer Dwomoh, Ranzy Ray, Smile, Kwaku40, Kojo Pjay, Oojoo, Papa Yaw, Putogo, Foster Romanus, Jerry Ashinyo, Kwame Obed, as well as international acts like Canadian comedian Emerson, Miriam Kirk from the USA, and Johnny Pula from Botswana.
