Renowned Ghanaian rapper Maradona Yeboah Adjei, popularly known as Guru, has revealed his strong desire to collaborate with the United Nations (UN).
In a recent interview, Guru shared that his passion for serving humanity has sparked his interest in exploring opportunities in global development.
While politics was never part of his original plan, his involvement in student politics has given him a deeper understanding of governance and public service.
Guru emphasized that his ultimate goal is not to work in a politically charged environment. Instead, he aims to make a meaningful contribution to international progress through the United Nations.
Drawing inspiration from former UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan, Guru hopes to continue Annan’s legacy by making an impact not only in Ghana but on a global scale.
The ‘Pooley’ rapper highlighted that his passion for helping others extends beyond music, and he believes that the UN provides the ideal platform to fulfill his vision.
He expressed his willingness to support the UN in achieving its core objectives of promoting international peace and security, fostering friendly relations among nations, promoting international cooperation, and coordinating member states’ actions.
Currently serving as the president of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) at the University of Ghana.
