Kenyan artist Jackson Ngechu, popularly known as CMB Prezzo, has made a significant shift in his music career by transitioning from secular to gospel music.
This decision was publicly announced during a service at the Empowerment Christian Church (ECC) in Nairobi, where Prezzo dedicated his life to Christ under the guidance of Rev. Lucy Natasha.
Accompanied by a vibrant choir, Prezzo debuted his first gospel single at the service, expressing his hopes that his music would resonate with the youth and inspire them.
He expressed deep gratitude to Rev. Natasha, acknowledging her role in his transformation.
Rev. Natasha joined in the celebration, offering prayers and dedicating Prezzo’s song to God, asking for divine guidance for him to be a vessel for uplifting others through his music.
She took to social media to commend him for his new direction in music.
Prezzo’s decision to embrace gospel music marks a departure from his previous flashy and luxurious lifestyle as a secular music icon in East Africa.
