Renowned Ghanaian actress and filmmaker, Kafui Danku, is optimistic about the future of the Ghanaian movie industry with the potential return of former President John Dramani Mahama.

In a recent interview on Channel One TV’s entertainment talk show ‘The Chat,’ Danku emphasized the importance of political involvement in revitalizing the struggling film industry in Ghana.

According to Danku, the Ghanaian film industry has faced challenges such as funding and distribution issues, leading to a decline in recent years. However, she believes that with the anticipated return of John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), positive changes could be on the horizon.
