The Chat: I’m not emotionally ready to feature in any movie – Kafui Danku

Renowned actress and producer Kafui Danku has recently revealed that she is not emotionally prepared to take on a leading role in a film at this time.

Known for her exceptional work in the industry, Danku is gearing up for the release of her latest film, “Fear Women & Look,” which is set to premiere on November 1, 2024.

The star-studded cast of the movie includes talented actors such as Kobi Rana, Clinton, Salma Mumin, Bella Agyemang, and other up-and-coming performers.

Despite not appearing in the film herself, Danku explained in an exclusive interview on Channel One TV’s ‘The Chat’ that she is currently focusing on content creation and social media series.

Danku expressed her enjoyment of being behind the scenes, taking on roles like directing and producing. She shared, “I’m not emotionally ready.

For now, I’m enjoying content creation, Social media series…You know the Kafui Danku Series…I shoot it, I direct it…So I am loving more of being behind the scenes.”

With a portfolio that includes notable works like “Any Other Monday,” “Alvina: Thunder and Lightning,” and “I Do,” Danku has made a significant impact in the Ghanaian film industry. She is also the author of the book “Silence Is Not Golden.”
