At the 2024 Tidal Rave Beach Festival, Absa Bank Ghana LTD showcased a unique blend of entertainment and entrepreneurship to enthusiastic attendees.
The event, known as one of Africa’s favorite beach festivals, highlighted Absa’s dedication to empowering youth and supporting small businesses.
A standout feature of this year’s Tidal Rave was the Absa Ignition Market, an innovative cashless platform that allowed young entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services to over 20,000 festival-goers.
This initiative not only provided a convenient way for attendees to access goods and services but also offered a valuable opportunity for budding business owners to reach a wider audience.
Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, where around 70 young vendors were supported, Absa and Tidal Rave repeated the Ignition Market this year and introduced a “Fireside Chat” on entrepreneurship.
Sponsored by Absa Bank, this new addition gave successful entrepreneurs a platform to share their stories and inspire their peers.
Charles Addo, Director of Retail Banking at Absa Bank, expressed the bank’s commitment to nurturing young entrepreneurs through initiatives like the collateral-free SME Loan @10 %.
The collaboration with Tidal Rave reflects Absa’s dedication to empowering the youth and creating opportunities for them to achieve their entrepreneurial dreams.
Aside from the entrepreneurial opportunities, the Tidal Rave Beach Festival also featured a stellar line-up of Ghana’s top musical talents.
From E.L.’s electrifying performance to R2Bees’ energetic set, the night was filled with captivating performances by artists like Edem, Kwesi Arthur, Pappy Kojo, KiDi, Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie, who all delivered show-stopping acts that thrilled the audience.
