Roverman Productions, in collaboration with the National Theatre, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new play for the upcoming quarter. The play, titled ‘I WANT TO FEED YOU,’ is written by the renowned Uncle Ebo Whyte.
The story unfolds in a typical neighborhood in Accra, where a group of eccentric but ordinary individuals reside.
As the day breaks, chaos ensues – Auntie Peace is in a rage over her missing Christmas chicken, Nhyira is forbidden to see his love interest Serwaa, and a heated confrontation ensues over Oboshie’s baby.
Amidst the commotion, Serwaa harbors a dark secret from her past, while the preacher holds secrets of his own. The play promises to be a rollercoaster of emotions and revelations.
‘I WANT TO FEED YOU’ will be showcased at the National Theatre in Accra on the 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th of September 2024. Showtimes are as follows: Fridays at 7 pm, Saturdays at 4 pm and 8 pm, and Sundays at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 8 pm.
