Xisca Perello, the wife of tennis champion Rafael Nadal, is known for her low profile despite being married to a global sports superstar.
As Nadal prepares to compete in the French Open, all eyes are on Xisca as she stands by her partner’s side.
Born as Maria Francisca Perello, Xisca’s background is in sports marketing, having worked in London before becoming the project director for the Rafael Nadal Foundation in 2016. The foundation, launched by Nadal in 2008, focuses on supporting disadvantaged children.
Xisca and Nadal started dating in 2005 and finally tied the knot after 17 years of courtship. Their lavish wedding took place in October 2019 at the La Fortaleza castle in Majorca, with around 350 guests in attendance, including celebrities like Tom Hiddleston, Olivia Colman, and Hugh Laurie.
In October 2022, Xisca and Nadal welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world. The birth took place in a private clinic on the island of Majorca, where both mother and baby are reported to be doing well.
Despite being rarely seen at Nadal’s tennis matches, Xisca has made occasional appearances at significant events. In an interview, she explained that she prefers not to attend most matches to maintain their relationship’s privacy and ensure Nadal’s focus isn’t disrupted.
Although Xisca does not have any public social media accounts, fans have created pages to share photos of the private couple. Xisca has made it clear that she shies away from the limelight and fame, choosing to lead a more private life with her husband.
