Ghanaian musician, Bright Homenyah, whose stage name is Article Wan, believes that with substantial investment, Ghanaian music could reach the same level of success as Nigerian music.

The award-winning musician expressed that numerous undiscovered music talents in Ghana lack the necessary support to make their music stand out. Article Wan emphasized that while Ghanaian musicians are striving to achieve global recognition, they require significant investments to amplify their music.

He pointed out that Nigerians are dominant in the Afrobeats market, attributing their success to the massive investments in their music industry.

In contrast, most Ghanaian artistes fund their own activities, making it challenging to compete on the same level.

Article Wan highlighted the presence of many talented acts in Ghana, including up-and-coming artists, who struggle due to lack of support. He stressed the importance of grace in addition to investment for success in the industry.

While commending the efforts of Black Sherif, Fameye, Gyakie, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie in promoting Ghanaian music on the global stage, Article Wan reiterated the need for substantial investments to propel the industry forward.
