Dance Moms, the popular reality TV show that aired for nine seasons on Lifetime, showcased the talents of young dancers under the tough and sometimes controversial tutelage of dance coach Abby Lee Miller.
The show, which premiered in 2011, featured original cast members including Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler, Brooke and Paige Hyland, Nia Sioux Frazier, Chloe Lukasiak, and Abby Lee Miller.
The young girls, aged between six and 13 during the first season, captivated audiences with their dancing skills and the drama that unfolded behind the scenes.
Sisters Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler were just eight and six years old respectively when the show first premiered, while Brooke and Paige Hyland were 13 and 10 years old.
After the series finale in 2019, some of the original cast members have gone on to achieve success beyond the show.
Chloe Lukasiak and the Hyland sisters are set to appear in a spin-off called Dance Moms: The Reunion, while Nia Sioux Frazier and the Ziegler sisters have chosen not to participate. Abby Lee Miller, who was 46 when the show began filming, was not invited to the reunion show.
