The Ghanaian music industry has been hit with a tragic loss as Zumankyere Amos, popularly known as Skelenzy, has sadly passed away due to injuries sustained from being shot by the police three weeks ago.
The heartbreaking incident took place near the Loho Primary School in Wa, Upper West Region, while Skelenzy and his companion, Fidelis, were on their way back from Kaleo.
The 27-year-old musician, who hailed from Daffiema but lived in Loho, Wa Municipal, was mistakenly shot by the police while riding his motorbike. The bullets not only struck Skelenzy in the abdomen but also grazed Fidelis’s thigh, who was riding pillion.
