Odeneho Kwaku Appiah, also known as Chairman COKA, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is rallying the entertainment community to show support for Ghanaian comedian and actor Funny Face during his challenging times.
Chairman COKA highlighted the importance of standing by Funny Face and offering him the necessary support, stating that everyone deserves a chance to correct their mistakes. He emphasized that Funny Face’s contributions to the entertainment industry deserve recognition and assistance, especially when he is facing adversity.
Expressing his concern over recent events involving Funny Face, Chairman COKA urged all stakeholders not to overlook the comedian’s potential and to refrain from contributing to the downfall of his career. He stressed the need for timely intervention, stating that waiting until a crisis escalates is not beneficial.
“Let’s not wait for tragic tributes before extending a helping hand. There’s always room for redemption in life,” said Chairman COKA. “I urge our entertainment fraternity to embrace Funny Face and support his comeback. Show hosts, extend invitations, show care, and let’s not abandon our own during tough times.”
Funny Face is currently facing legal consequences following a drunk driving incident that resulted in an accident hospitalizing five individuals. He is currently in police custody and has been remanded for two weeks.
Chairman COKA’s message is a call for unity and compassion within Ghana’s entertainment industry, reminding everyone that amidst challenges, there is always hope and an opportunity for redemption.
