The Queen of Afro-Islamic music, Ghanaian Police officer Hajia Sa-ada Muhammed, popularly known as Hajia Police, has shared the interesting story of how she ended up in the Ghana Police Service.
In an interview on Onua TV, Hajia Police revealed that her love for riding big motorbikes played a significant role in her recruitment into the police force. She explained, “It was rather the riding of the motorbike that took me to the Ghana Police Service, so I was chosen because of my riding abilities.”
Recalling the moment she got enlisted, she said, “When they were enlisting, I was also riding my motorcycle to my grandma’s place and I went to pass where they were doing the enlistment.” She added, “At that time riding a motorcycle wasn’t popular in Accra because there were few motorbikes around, and I was riding the biggest motor in Accra then.”
Hajia Police expressed gratitude for the opportunity, stating, “You see when favor locates you there is nothing you can do about it because when I got there with my motorbike, they allowed me to join the enlistment even though I didn’t apply.”
