Ghanaian media personality and Tourism Ambassador, Afua Asantewaa, has announced plans for a special birthday celebration in Dubai in May.
This event will not only be a personal milestone for Asantewaa but also an opportunity to showcase and promote Ghana’s rich cultural heritage on a global platform.
Asantewaa, who recently made headlines for her attempt at the Guinness World Record for the longest singathon, shared her upcoming plans in an exclusive interview on TV3. Despite not achieving the record due to errors in her break periods, Asantewaa remains determined and focused on this new cultural initiative.
“I will be organizing an event in May to promote Ghana in Dubai, coinciding with my birthday,” Asantewaa revealed. She emphasized her commitment to using this celebration as a way to highlight Ghana’s diverse cultural offerings on an international stage.
In a press release, Asantewaa mentioned the importance of spending quality time with her family and seeking solitude after the intense singathon attempt.
