The Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, Samuel A. Jinapor, has urged staff members of his Ministry to lend their support to management in completing all pending projects in the Mining, Forestry, and Land sub-sectors before the end of the year.
During the year’s first durbar held on Friday, 1st March 2024, Mr. Jinapor emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the Ministry’s goals. He commended the Chief Director, Professor Agbesinyale, for his unwavering dedication and expertise in advising on policies and matters concerning the Ministry.
Acknowledging the essential role played by the Chief Director in the Ministry’s successes, the Minister expressed his gratitude to the staff and management, highlighting the need for a motivated, well-trained, and equipped workforce to ensure high productivity.
Mr. Jinapor also provided updates on infrastructure developments, including the construction of a disability-friendly elevator for improved accessibility to the building. He also revealed plans for a comprehensive facelift of the entire edifice to enhance staff comfort.
As a token of appreciation, the Minister assured the staff of attractive packages for the upcoming Easter holidays. The Ministry is focused on completing all pending projects and achieving its objectives with the full support of its dedicated team.
