Ahead of the PDAC in Toronto, the Canada-Africa Chamber of Business expressed their gratitude to Elephant Trade-Services, the headline sponsor of their 30th Year Anniversary event.
The President of the Chamber, Garreth Bloor, highlighted the support they have received from Elephant Trade-Services, a company based in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This support has enabled the Chamber to organize successful programs in both Canadian and African markets, including recent events in the DRC and Kenya.
The Chamber recently concluded the second Canada Africa Business Conference in Kenya, which was hosted by H.E. President William Ruto, and sponsored by Elephant Trade-Services. The event was attended by Prime Minister Trudeau’s Parliamentary Secretary to Canada’s Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, PS Maninder Sidhu.
During a visit to the Lualaba Province in the DRC, Chamber Board Chair Paula Caldwell St-Onge praised Elephant Trade-Services for their role in promoting Canada-Africa trade and investment. She commended CEO Gabriel Tshitende for his leadership and contribution to expanding business opportunities between Canada and Africa.
Wayne Floreani, President of MineAfrica Inc., also spoke highly of Elephant Trade-Services, applauding their expertise, experience, and connections in the DRC mining market. Elephant Trade-Services has been a valuable partner in trade missions and events related to the mining sector.
Looking ahead, the Chamber is excited about upcoming events in Washington, DC, Toronto, and Ottawa, with the continued support of Elephant Trade-Services. Their collaboration has been instrumental in fostering economic ties between Canada and Africa.
