However, his success didn’t solely hinge on his own skills. His brother, Bing Worthington, played a significant role in Snoop Dogg’s rise to fame. Bing, who sadly passed away at the age of 44 in February 2024, was a crucial support system for the famous rapper.
Bing’s life started in California, born on May 4, 1979. He attended Long Beach High School, where he crossed paths with his future wife, Mymy Jordan. Together, they had a son, but Bing was protective of his family’s privacy, keeping his son’s name and birthdate out of the public eye.
While music was at the core of Snoop Dogg’s career, Bing found his way into the industry as a roadie for his brother’s shows. From there, he advanced to become Snoop Dogg’s tour manager. Later, he pursued his own musical endeavors, as a member of the group Lifestyle. Their 2003 album, Liquid Cocaine, included a lead single featured on the soundtrack for the movie Van Wilder 2.
