The photographs and videos that started circulating on Facebook on Wednesday, show Abia State University lecturer Anucha Wisdom getting down on one knee to propose to his girlfriend in her classroom.
This delightful incident took place in front of her colleagues, and as she gave her assent, the cheering from her friends grew louder.
Posting pictures from the event, Facebook user, One Possible Nwaohamuo, declared, “What a memorable Valentine’s Day! My boss, Anucha Wisdom, proposed to his fiancee. Note he didn’t just find love outside his terrine but inside his territory! Lecturer and student love! Congratulations boss. Let the count down begin. But imagine how optometry babe make my boss kneel down! Ije kena ndi kwa Ike oh!”
Another Facebook user, Noble Ugo Anucha, even posted a video and some photos, and wrote, “Hearty Congrats Dedem Anucha Wisdom. Dee Law and Daa Ngo is happily happy about this move. We have a wedding to plan. It is all to the glory Of God.”
A quick look at the lecturer, Anucha Wisdom’s Facebook page, and we can see that he has not yet posted about the proposal.
This engagement incident is reminiscent of February 2023, when a lady called Olabisi got the shock of her life on Valentine’s Day, as Infinix Nigeria supported her fiancé, Michael, in arranging a completely surprise marriage proposal for her in Lagos.
