DUNKIN’ Donuts has recently recruited some big names to appear in their commercials. On February 12, 2023, the coffee chain aired Ben Affleck’s first Dunkin’ Donuts commercial during the Super Bowl.
Since then, the Justice League actor has appeared in over 15 Dunkin’ advertisements, including appearances during the 2024 Grammy Awards and Super Bowl 2024.
Ben’s commercials have featured guest stars such as Jennifer Lopez, Ice Spice, and Charli D’Amelio. The coffee chain has also released outtakes from the commercials on its social media pages, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the production process.
According to an insider, Ben Affleck has been heavily involved in the Dunkin’ partnership, even pitching the script, directing, and starring in the commercials. His humorous and charismatic personality has made a positive impact on the set, and Dunkin’ is thrilled to have him on board.
In his latest Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’, Ben was joined by cameo appearances from Jennifer Lopez, Jack Harlow, Tom Brady, Matt Damon, and Fat Joe, as they tried to dissuade Ben from starting a boy band called the Dunkings.
Following the commercial release, Dunkings merchandise became available, and the DunKings Iced Coffee was introduced at participating locations. The drink features an iced coffee with a few pumps of vanilla, coffee cream, a sweet cold foam topping, and a dusting of cinnamon sugar.
CNN reports that Dunkin’ paid Ben $10 million to star in two of its Super Bowl commercials. As a part of their deal, Dunkin’ also makes donations to the Eastern Congo Initiative, a non-profit organization co-founded by Ben Affleck in 2010.
