The SDGs must leave no one behind: stories from Ghana

As the Millennium Development Goals draw to a close and governments agree the new Sustainable Development Goals, close to a billion people remain in extreme poverty, earning less than $1.25 a day.

This ‘bottom billion’ includes girls out of school, older people, disabled people, and other marginalised groups. To achieve the new global goals, governments must target support to these groups and leave no one behind.
