Let Girls Learn – GLOW Ghana

Girls Leading Our World (GLOW) Camps have, for 20 years, been part of Peace Corps Volunteers’ efforts to improve girls’ access to education and empowerment.
In Ghana, volunteers came together to bring GLOW to the Volta Region, empowering girls in their communities through encouraging strong friendships, leadership skills and critical thinking.

Marking the first anniversary of Let Girls Learn, a U.S. government initiative launched by President Obama and the First Lady, the Peace Corps is excited to expand its Let Girls Learn programming to 35 countries.
