Ghana: Former UN Secretary General Kofi Annan calls for more Agric investment

Former UN Secretary General, Mr. Kofi Annan, is happy about government’s plans to use agriculture as a tool for economic development and job creation, particularly for the youth. He says there are numerous job opportunities that could be created along the agricultural value chain. Mr. Kofi Annan said this when he visited the Mankessim Rural Technology Facility, in the Central Region, to learn about the vocational training and job creation interventions for women and the youth under the Rural Enterprise Programme (REP), of the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
