[Watch in HD] I travelled to Ghana, West Africa to find out the truth about the lives of those disabled in the country, and what Ghanaians are actually doing to break away the stigma and cultural fear so well associated with disability and the disabled. A stigma originated from the fear of the unknown, a stigma that has been there for so long many, even the ‘elite’ are failing to realise it exists as they lead their normal life.
Is that mentality it due to denial, discomfort or simply plain ignorance? Through this documentary, i hope for Ghanaians and everyone else who watches this to realise that it is time to reset our minds, define again, and rethink on the things we have been unconsciously digesting over centuries, which has in turn blinded many to face the reality and act.
