Nana Boroo reveals how Kwame Sefa Kai nearly destroyed his music career

Nana Boroo, the musician fondly remembered for his hot banger, Aha Ayɛdɛ has made a shocking revelation about how two Ghanaian radio personalities almost ‘killed’ that particular song before it saw the light of the day.

The light-skinned rapper, whose song Aha Ayɛdɛ became a street anthem and topped the charts throughout the country, said Peace FM broadcasters Kwame Sefa Kayi and Kofi Kum Bilson, after listening to the preliminary stage of the song, told him point blank that it was ‘foolish’

Nana Boroo said that development broke down his spirit until music producer, Killbeatz encouraged him to release the song.

Such was the popularity of the song that, it won the Most Popular Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2011.

Speaking to Kasapa FM, the man born Nana Osei Bonsu said: “Before releasing the song, I showed it to some top radio personalities including Kwame Sefa Kayi and Kofi Kum Bilson. But the response I got what kind of ‘foolish’ song is this?”
