I’ll be surprised if Lil Win, Nana Ama McBrown, others are swayed by Yovnne’s petition – Mawuko Kuadzi – Kasapa102.5FM

Award winning Actor Abraham Attah‘s manager, Mawuko Kuadzi has said he will be surprised if actors based in Kumasi sign the petition letter of their fellow colleague Yvonne Nelson to the government.

The CEO of MK casting said, he will be amazed if Kumawood actors like Lil Win, Nana Ama McBrown pen their signatures on the petition letter since they are already on the ground working.

According to him, organising demonstration and writing petitions to Government Ministers and other Arts institutions have never been fruitful.

“I will be surprised if actors like Lil Win, Nana Ama McBrown and others sign the petition because they are working,” Mawuko Kuadzi told Kasapa Entertainment host, Kojo Preko Dankwa.

He went further saying, any Kumawood actor or actress that signs, will only do that because he is not working.

However, Mawuko thinks, industry players must put in much work to be recognized by the government, rather than signing petitions and organising demonstrations with claims that the movie industry keeps declining.
