Reno Omokri Lashes President Buhari Following His Comments On Helping Nana Addo To Fight Corruption

It is very clear that Ghanaians play too much with politics and governance but it seems like our Nigerian friends are the actual owners of the playing ground and we are just comedians hired for the show.

Apparently, we all know we are living on a continent full of corrupt countries and as offended as any of us would want to feel towards Trump’s “SHITHOLE” comment, Ghana and many other countries really resemble a SHITHOLE, and this has nothing to do with nationality as some of you would want to believe.

However, yesterday 6th March 2018, was Ghana’s 61st birthday since we attained Independence and the cliche celebrations never fade out as it stands till now since Kwame Nkrumah’s first independence speech.

Speaking at the event among many guests was Nigeria’s President Buhari who in his speech stated that he would help Ghana fight corruption.

Clearly, that was a statement coming from a president whose country produces all types of corruption in every sight of the word. And we all felt it was the greatest joke of all time.

Well, it seems we were not the only ones unhappy about his jovial statement. Outspoken lawyer and author, Reno Omokri have lashed president Buhari for daring to even conceive such thoughts.

“Dear President Nana Akufo-Addo, @NAkufoAddo, I gather President Buhari promised to teach Ghana how to fight corruption. Can a man without hair teach you how to comb your hair?” He tweeted.

“Transparency International says corruption has increased in Nigeria under Buhari! Is this your teacher?” he added.
