The Chairperson of the Electoral Commission Charlotte Osei is expected to meet Parliamentarians today, Wednesday, July 26, to answer questions relating to the 2016 elections.
She is meeting legislators over how much the Commission made from the controversial accreditation fees the commission charged journalists who covered the 2016 general elections.
The majority leader, Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, disclosed this last week during the presentation of business for this week.
The meeting which is going to be held separately is likely to also hit on the current internal wrangling at the commission.
Mrs. Osei is caught in accusations and counter accusations with two of her deputies. She is reeling under pressure as some staff of the commission have petitioned the president to investigate her for incompetence and subsequently remove her from office.
She has died the accusation and sued the lawyer for the petitioners.
