Member of Parliament (MP) for Sissala West, Mohammed Adam Sukparu has contributed to the well-being of communities in the constituency by providing essential water infrastructure.
He handed over eight boreholes, three of which are mechanized, to various communities in the area.

Supported by the funding of the Qatar Charity, the ultra-modern mechanized boreholes were commissioned for the Gwollu Konnala, Nadabala, and Fielmuo communities.

This initiative is aimed at improving access to clean and safe drinking water in these areas.

In addition, the MP also oversaw the construction of five hand-pump boreholes for the Kusali, Puzene, Liero, Chetu, and Gums communities.

These boreholes were built through self-funding and Common Funds at the cost of GHs25,000.00 per community, totaling GHs125,000.00.

Speaking at the handing-over ceremony, Mr Sukparu addressed the water challenges faced by the people of Gwollu and emphasized the importance of this initiative in making clean water accessible.

He also mentioned that two mechanized boreholes with overhead poly tanks were provided to conserve water and help alleviate water scarcity.

The communities expressed their gratitude to the MP for his support and expressed hope for continued assistance in the future.
