Tunde Akinsanmi, a former member of the popular RnB group, Styl-Plus, is calling on Nigerian show promoters to give recognition to artistes who have paved the way in the music industry.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, Tunde expressed his desire to see a variety of music genres being promoted on radio and not just focusing on afrobeats.

The singer emphasized the importance of not neglecting veteran artistes who have contributed to the music scene over the years. He believes that by supporting these established artistes, their music and careers will have a lasting impact.

Aside from his music career, Tunde also shared that he is involved in the development of games as a tech enthusiast. After spending the past decade in a more private lifestyle, he has decided to make a comeback this year.

On the topic of veteran artistes making a comeback, Tunde rejected the notion of referring to them as ‘old cats’. He believes that as artistes age, they become more valuable and their music becomes vintage.
