The demand for change within the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has intensified as Alhaji Karim Grusah, the long-time football administrator and financier of King Faisal, has called for the resignation of officials within the organization.

Grusah was a prominent figure at the ‘SaveGhanaFootball’ protest on February 14th in Accra, where he joined other demonstrators in voicing their concerns over the management of football in the country, and also spoke to the media.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the current state of affairs at the GFA, Grusah criticized the association’s handling of football matters and demanded swift action. He also addressed the recent communication from the GFA requesting a meeting with the organizers of the protest in order to discuss the pressing issues at hand.

“If they have acknowledged [the issues], they should resign, Ghana is not for them,” Grusah firmly declared, emphasizing the need for a complete overhaul of leadership within the GFA.
