The NPP majority in Parliament has recently undergone changes in its leadership, with Alex Afenyo-Markin taking over as majority leader. Afenyo-Markin replaces Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu, who has held the position for quite some time.

In addition to Afenyo-Markin’s appointment, Frank Annor Dompreh has been named Deputy Majority Leader, and Habib Iddrisu will serve as Chief Whip. Patricia Appiagyei and Alex Tetteh Djornobuah will take on the roles of 1st and 2nd Chief Whips, respectively.

This shift in leadership brings new faces to the forefront of the NPP majority in Parliament, signaling a potential change in direction for the party.
