As the much-anticipated showdown between Medeama and Al Ahly in the CAF Champions League approaches, Medeama’s bankroller, Moses Parker, is calling on Ghanaian football enthusiasts to throw their support behind the team.

In an exclusive interview with Peace FM, as monitored by Footballghana.com, Parker urged Ghanaians to turn out in numbers at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday and rally behind Medeama.

“Ghanaians should come and support Medeama; it is Ghana versus Egypt now, that is how the game is,” Parker emphasized, highlighting the significance of the match-up. “If you look at Al Ahly, their team is very strong. Look at the Egypt national team; almost 10 players have played for them.”

Despite the formidable strength of Al Ahly’s squad, enriched by numerous Egyptian national team players, Parker acknowledges the challenge ahead. Nevertheless, he remains optimistic and expresses confidence in Medeama’s ability to rise to the occasion.

“They are all coming here, and if they want good football to watch, this is the time Ghana should come and support so that we thrash them,” Parker declared.
