Ghanaian midfielder Malachi Boateng made a significant impact in Dundee FC’s 4-1 victory against Livingston in the Scottish Premiership by providing an assist for his team.

Boateng entered the game in the 57th minute, replacing Ryan Howley and went on to make a decisive contribution to the match.

Despite Livingston enjoying 63% possession, Dundee FC managed to stifle their opponents and capitalized on their 37% possession to secure a convincing win.

Amadou Bakayoko opened the scoring for Dundee before Harry Sharp saved a penalty just before the halftime whistle. Luke McCowan then scored two goals after the break, but was later sent off after receiving a second booking.

Although Tete Yengi of Livingston scored a penalty to level the game, Dundee regained their lead with a quick third goal from substitute Zach Robinson, with Michael Mellon adding a wonderful finish to seal the victory.

Notably, it was Malachi Boateng who provided the assist for Michael Mellon’s goal, which was eventually confirmed after a VAR review, further highlighting Boateng’s impact on the match.
