Renowned TV personality, Nana Aba Anamoah, has revealed that she faced no challenges in securing speakers for her upcoming program.
In an interview with Doreen Avio, she emphasized that due to the purpose of the project, which is to reach out to many young women, and her own reputation, it was a seamless process to get reputable individuals on board.
“It was so easy, you wouldn’t believe it. I just had to send them a DM. First of all, I called Shirley and told her this is what I am doing and I want her to be there as one of my speakers,” Nana Aba stated. She further mentioned that other speakers responded to her invite within 5 minutes.
Speaking about the swift responses she received, Nana Aba highlighted the importance of being cautious on social media, especially when interacting with well-known personalities. “You are on social media and your DM is coming from a verified account, and you check the profile and bio, it pushes you to respond quicker. So it was so easy, and these women are professionals with the way they go about things,” she noted.
Furthermore, Nana Aba expressed her commitment to responding to people’s messages on social media. While she may not be able to reply to everyone, she diligently dedicates about an hour to respond to as many messages as possible.
“I respond to DMs. I don’t live on social media, so when I go there, I make sure I dedicate about an hour there so I respond to as many messages as possible, though it’s not all. In view of that, I wasn’t surprised when they responded,” she explained.
