Amin Adam vows to complete unfinished projects in Ashanti region

The Finance Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, has been given a directive by President Akufo-Addo to ensure the completion of stalled infrastructure projects in the Ashanti Region. This directive was announced during the Minister’s official visit to the region, where he had a meeting with Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Ashanti Regional Minister.

Emphasizing the economic significance of the Ashanti Region, Dr Amin Adam reiterated the government’s commitment to executing critical projects such as the Kumasi International Airport, Kejetia Redevelopment Market, and the Mother and Baby Unit at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, which have faced challenges causing delays in completion.

Dr Amin Adam assured that prompt action will be taken to address these challenges and ensure the successful completion of these projects for the benefit of the people. He also mentioned that President Akufo-Addo is determined to bring urgency and speed to bear on these projects so that the people can begin to benefit from them.

Accompanying the Finance Minister on his visit were the Deputy Finance Minister, Dr. John Kumah, and the Chief Director of the Ministry. This commitment to the completion of stalled projects in the Ashanti Region demonstrates the government’s dedication to infrastructural development and economic growth in the area.
